Cryogenic Engine

Cryogenic engine is an unique engine that use cryogenic fuel-oxidizer combination at very low temperature. They are liquid propellant rocket engines. The most widely used combination is Liquid hydrogen(LH2) - Liquid oxygen(LOX). The 300N cryogenic propellant engine has an vacuum Isp of 415 seconds - the highest value achieved in Europe for an engine of such small size. Faced with ostracization, India chose to develop the engine on its own. India's growing prowess in space technology has made it possible to fortunately develop the cryogenic engine on its own. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning to relaunch the GSLV-D3 with its home-grown cryogenic engine in a year's time after its failure in April this year. A decades effort has been deployed to successfully showcase our country's indigenous cryogenic technology thus becoming the sixth nation to develop cryogenic rocket engine and to become a low cost launcher who would threaten the launch market!!!..:=)

The Unbelievable In Pursuit Of The Unimaginable!!!

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC), a massy scientific machine built by CERN sits in a circular tunnel 27000 m in circumference. The tunnel is buried around 50 to 175 m underground. It straddles the Swiss and French borders on the outskirts of Geneva. Scientists and engineers have spent nearly 25 years designing and building the massive round machine and its four gigantic experiments. It is funded by and built in collaboration with over 10,000 scientists and engineers from over 100 countries as well as hundreds of universities and laboratories in which UK has the leading role. It is designed to collide Proton-Proton at an energy of 7 TeV per beam. The beam move around the LHC inside continuous vaccum guided by superconducting magnets which are cooled by huge cryogenic system. LHC will help in successfully understanding the Big Bang and to answer the fundamental questions of physics. They could tell us what dark matter is made of, what the origin of mass is, where all the antimatter went and throw up countless surprises about the cosmos along the way thus pushing the knowledge forward for those who dare to dream beyond the paradigm. However the fact is that, to pinpoint the smallest fragments of the universe you have to build the biggest machine in the world...:):)

Supersonic Green Machine!

Supersonic..defined as speed more than sound. It has made stupendous marks in the path of revolutionary technologies. It is most efficiently used in the dynamic action of air to create powered airplanes. Starting from worlds supersonic passenger airplanes-Concorde and Tupolve-144 it has made a supreme journey till this 2010 helping man to achieve the range of Supersonic Cruise concept. Here comes the future supersonic flight over land from NASA. "The Supersonic Green Machine" It has consummated overland flight by dramatically lowering the sonic booms through the use of an inverted-V engine designed by underwing configuration which will be in existence within the 2030-2035 timeframe. I wonder what its fuel consumption would be..and if something like this is available for civilian traffic>>>>Awestruck!!!

The future commercial space travel has created a desire in minds of people to make space their ultimate vacation destination. Therefore, the next innovative commercial space business may be the orbiting space hotel. Robert Bigelow, who made his fortune by getting this project, is already working on a prototype orbiting hotel. Bigelow has invested $75 million into this project, with an estimate of $425 million more,,,, His orbiting hotel. .a stake at present is being developed under the corporate name of Bigelow Aerospace. The firm has successfully completed the first phase of the project by launching a small pod that inflates aloft called Genesis I. It has marked the beginning of first privately funded space station. The project is a prototype for cheap, livable, interconnecting rooms for commercial use in space similar in design to the International Space Station. In fact, Genesis I was an early concept for the ISS that was researched through funding by NASA. Robert Bigelow has since purchased the rights to the patent of the technology for his Genesis prototype.

However all these surely represent another small step for the creativity of man and a potentially giant leap for profitable opportunity in business and commercial enterprise of every kind.

Here comes the new era of space travel. Data from public opinion polls indicate that nearly fifty million people would like to visit space. In fact as many as two million people each year would take the journey beyond the outer limits of Earth’s gravity. Therefore, really it is not hard to understand the interest in commercial space travel by private business. In fact, more than six companies are working to make commercial space travel a reality. However, the company that is closest in becoming the industry pioneer is Virgin Galactic. The company is a well funded joint stake of Richard Branson, Burt Rutan, and Paul Allen.

Eager future space travelers should consider that the development of Virgin Galactic's Space Ship Two is nearly completed and could be performing test flights by the end of the year into space. The spacecrafts successful predecessor, Spaceship One, last reached space on October 4, 2004, winning the $10m Ansari X Prize. The larger and more powerful, Space Ship Two, is being built to accommodate two pilots and six passengers. Indeed, there will be enough room on board to experience the freedom of movement in the zero gravity of space. Initially, Virgin Galactic has ordered five spaceships to begin the business of commercial space travel and tourism.The Spaceships will launch from the Virgin Galactic spaceport which is currently under construction in the state of New Mexico. The spaceport will be the first commercial space launch and control facility in the United States. The $200m spaceport project is designed to cover 27 square miles. It will feature a mission control station, runways, and the Virgin Galactic headquarters. Much of the facility will be built underground.

Customers who want to experience commercial space travel have been lining up for tickets. 75 people have already paid the entire $200,000 fee. William Shatner, Sigourney Weaver, and Paris Hilton are reported to be among the early space tourists while hundreds of others have put down more than thirty million dollars in deposits to reserve their seat for a flight on Virgin’s Spaceships. However, the initial experience of commercial space flight will be brief and it will not exactly represent a bargain ride. Passengers will spend just under 10 minutes in space at an altitude of only 65 miles, high enough to experience free fall and to see the curvature of the earth.Of course, the creation of the new space travel tourism industry comes with government regulations.

Spaceports, flights to space, indicate that a new era of commercial space travel and tourism is on the horizon,,,,,

Howdy….I’m Siddharth (my name means accomplishment) of course me too,,,because I always strive to make my dreams get done. The second star of BSN constellation and my role model is ma bro, the brightest star of BSN(outstanding bro,,,,CEO EmpIndia). I’m a person much pliable to move with, unless I think. Always try to maintain my solitaire but rarely short tempered too. I love to praxis benevolent, virtuous and newfangled things from ma surroundings. Also I make my surroundings such that it predisposes me to attain my dreams.

Much interested hobby,,,activity,,,relaxation and everything are stargazing and dreaming big. My favorite sports are football, badminton and cue sport.

Now I’m in 12^th standard which is an academic battle and also a prime time in everyone’s academic career…so at present fighting this battle with great certitude. My short goal is to success this battle.

Of course nix remarkable I have achieved but always urging to do something remarkable. I believe everyone are unique and have a unparalleled role to play in the world. I’m very interested in Astronomy and my passion is to become an Astronaut(crazy to land on PHOBOS). My supreme dream is to start an Aerospace company in India which would be the leading user of aerospace equipments in the future 15 years and also a pioneer of space field. This may be an imagination now,,,,,also I do imagine more because I strongly believe in these words-IMAGINATION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAT KNOWLEDGE. Very soon this imaginations will be given life.
